The Fideliphone Development team has reached a milestone we wanted to share with you, our users. We’ve just run Fideliphone successfully in the gnome desktop environment on the Linux operating system. This required several minor changes and bug fixes and will be released publicly as soon as we fully complete testing on it. We’re hopeful that this will also bring us one step closer to providing a version of Fideliphone for Apple OSX.
Stay tuned for further details in the coming days.
Sincerely,
The Fideliphone Development Team
Hi,
Can I have the latest fideliphone source for linux? I’m aware it’s still in testing stage, but I’d like to test. Can you send me a link to an archive of the source or a repository or something?
Thanks, KJ4UFX.
Hi Derek,
I’ll send you a link later today. Thanks for offering to test.
Thanks,
Chris Peterson, Fideliphone Development Team Leader
I think this is A bit off topic for Linux, but the Fideliphone that I am using is currently the beta version. But I am not using the RC version because it won’t ring when people call me, and I am having a bit of problems with it. I tried changing the audio device settings, but, that won’t work. And it is a bit processer entensive. Are you working on this. Thanks. The software is great and I like it.
Hey Chris,
I’d like to be a beta tester too. I’m working with a crew here in Southwest Wisconsin, building a community radio station using Free Software. I’d love to test your software and use it for our future remote broadcasts.
Thanks,
David
Why jesus allows this sort of thing to continue is a mystery.
If there is a wishlist, I would like the option to send the traffic via a proxy server!

Saved your site. Appreciation for discussing. Surely well worth time clear of my personal tests.
